Fresh off the massive unveiling of the RTX Spark superchip at GTC Taipei during COMPUTEX 2026, NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang took the new silicon directly to the heart of competitive gaming: South Korea. Partnering with top-tier developers and reigning esports champions, Huang toured some of Seoul’s most popular PC bangs to give gamers a firsthand look at the future of local AI and enthusiast-tier performance.
Designed specifically for the era of personal AI agents, RTX Spark represents the culmination of 30 years of NVIDIA architecture. The new superchip is engineered to power ultra-efficient desktop PCs and slim Windows laptops with all-day battery life, without compromising on frame rates. For the enthusiast crowd, RTX Spark promises AAA gaming at 1440p and over 100 frames per second, fully supported by NVIDIA ray tracing, Reflex, and the newly announced DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, which utilizes a second-generation transformer model to push image quality to new heights.
T1 Base Camp: Jensen Meets Faker
Korea’s internet cafe (PC bang) culture has been the proving ground for esports for decades. On Friday, Huang visited T1 Base Camp, an elite PC bang owned by the powerhouse esports organization T1.

There, he met with T1’s reigning League of Legends World Champion roster, including the legendary six-time World Champion Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok. The two icons officially unveiled RTX Spark to the local enthusiast community. During the event, NVIDIA confirmed they are actively collaborating with Riot Games to optimize both League of Legends and VALORANT for RTX Spark, bringing ultra-high-refresh-rate competitive gaming to ultra-thin form factors.
The event featured massive giveaways for attendees, including signed merchandise, RTX Spark-powered laptops, and flagship GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs.
Next-Gen AI Teammates with KRAFTON
On Saturday, the tour moved to the Gangnam district, where Huang surprised gamers at Optimum Zone PC alongside KRAFTON Chairman Byung-gyu Chang. The duo showcased PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and Subnautica 2 running natively on RTX Spark hardware.

The highlight of the stop was an unannounced look at PUBG Ally. Built heavily on NVIDIA ACE technologies, PUBG Ally is an interactive, co-playable character powered by local AI on RTX Spark laptops. Developed through a joint AI R&D initiative between KRAFTON and NVIDIA, these next-generation NPCs act as highly responsive teammates, analyzing live gameplay to provide immersive, context-aware engagements rather than relying on scripted routines.
Pushing Visual Boundaries with NC
The final stop brought Huang to Portal PC, joined by Taekjin Kim, co-CEO of NC. The long-standing partnership between NVIDIA and NC—which dates back to the early 2000s with the Lineage franchise—was on full display as gamers got hands-on time with CINDER CITY and AION 2.
Attendees were treated to a live demo of CINDER CITY, NC’s highly anticipated open-world MMO tactical shooter. The title will launch with full support for DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution, ensuring buttery-smooth performance across the new compact desktops and RTX Spark laptops coming later this year.
With over 100 Windows software providers and game developers—including XBOX, NetEase, and Remedy Entertainment—already heavily invested in the new architecture, RTX Spark is positioning itself as a massive architectural leap for mobile and compact PC gaming. We will be keeping a close eye on these systems as review units become available.
