NVIDIA just uploaded a new PC Beta trailer featuring all-new gameplay footage of the PC edition of Destiny 2 running in 4K at a fluid 60 frames-per-second. NVIDIA is collaborating with Bungie and Activision to make the PC version of Destiny 2 better.
Activision is kicking off their Early Access PC Beta on August 28th ahead of the October 24th PC release of the MP first-person shooter for Open Beta which runs August 29th through August 31st. The PC beta will support 4K, uncapped framerates, a full suite of adjustable graphics settings, full keyboard and mouse support, and 21:9 monitor support.
The PC Beta will feature Destiny 2’s opening campaign story mission “Homecoming”; the team-based collaborative Strike the “Inverted Spire”; as well as competitive multiplayer with two different maps, including the never-before-seen Javelin-4 map!
BTR’s Editor-in-Chief got to play the single player opening campaign at E3 in 4K and even recorded the first mission’s gameplay with ShadowPlay at NVIDIA’s booth where they featured dozens of PCs powered by GTX 1080 Tis running Destiny 2. What is impressive is that Destiny 2 can run at a locked-on 60 FPS with maxed out settings using a GTX 1080 Ti. We are looking forward to playing and reviewing Destiny 2 when it arrives.
Happy Gaming!
