May 13, 2025 — Nvidia has released a new GeForce Game Ready Driver, delivering cutting-edge performance enhancements for two major PC titles: DOOM: The Dark Ages and New World: Aeternum. The driver rollout coincides with early access to DOOM: The Dark Ages, and prepares GeForce RTX users for significant frame rate and responsiveness gains thanks to DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and Nvidia Reflex.

DLSS 4, Ray Tracing, and Reflex Drive DOOM’s PC Superiority
id Software’s DOOM: The Dark Ages launches in Early Access for Premium Edition buyers and RTX 50 Series bundle owners on May 14, with a full release set for May 15. This latest installment features native idTech8 ray tracing, accelerated by DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. GeForce RTX 50 Series users can expect up to a 4X performance boost at 4K, while RTX 40 Series GPUs benefit from DLSS Frame Generation, and all RTX cards support DLSS Super Resolution. A post-launch update will bring Path Tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction to further elevate visual fidelity. The title is also available via GeForce NOW cloud streaming.
New World: Aeternum Season 8 Gains DLSS 4 Support
Launching May 13, New World: Aeternum – Season of the Divide introduces DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and Nvidia Reflex, offering significant performance uplift across RTX GPUs. RTX 50 users gain maximum frames, RTX 40 users benefit from DLSS Frame Generation, and Reflex helps reduce latency for smoother combat and exploration.
Nvidia App and Ecosystem Updates
Nvidia has also updated the Nvidia App, expanding support for DLSS 4 overrides across 15 new games and applications. These overrides apply the latest DLSS AI models to increase visual quality and performance. Additionally, the Game Ready Driver includes support for seven new G-SYNC Compatible displays and two new Optimal Playable Settings profiles, continuing NVIDIA’s commitment to seamless, responsive PC gaming.
