This week is a big one for PC gamers, with NVIDIA announcing two major updates: the rollout of DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation to a couple of highly anticipated titles, and their full lineup for QuakeCon 2025 in Texas. Let’s dive into the details.
DLSS 4 Goes Live in Two New Games
NVIDIA’s latest performance-multiplying technology, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, is now arriving to power two exciting new games, delivering massive performance boosts for GeForce RTX players.

First up is The First Descendant, a free-to-play, third-person co-op action RPG. With the launch of Season 3, “Breakthrough,” on August 7, the game is getting a host of new content, including a massive new open area, a new raid, and a crossover with the beloved action RPG NieR: Automata. The real highlight for PC enthusiasts, however, is the new support for DLSS 4, which multiplies frame rates at 4K by an average of 4.9X. This is a serious performance leap that you can see for yourself in the new DLSS 4 video from NVIDIA.
Next is Death Relives, a survival horror puzzle game that plunges players into an ancient Mesoamerican setting. The developers leveraged the NVIDIA RTX Unreal Engine 5.4 branch to integrate cutting-edge tech. The game now supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, and DLSS Super Resolution to maximize performance, alongside NVIDIA Reflex to reduce latency and make gameplay more responsive.
NVIDIA Is Headed to QuakeCon 2025
